"SAVE THIS LIFE" MICROCHIP UPDATES

As you may have heard by now - the microchip company "Save This Life" has appeared to go dark. This is the company that our office has utilized for many years. We currently do not know what happened or what is going to happen with the future of that company. We had no warning and are doing our best to navigate this process.

Currently any microchip that is registered under Save This Life is non-searchable in the national microchip database. It is recommended at this time to register your pets microchip with the "FREE PET MICROCHIP REGISTRY" --- this is a free registry that will allow your pets microchip number to be searchable within the national database.

REGISTERING YOUR PET IS VITAL! WITHOUT REGISTRATION YOUR PETS MICROCHIP WILL NOT BE LINKED TO YOU

You can click the link below to register your pet - you will be asked to create an account and provide your pets information as well as yours. This is a FREE service - you will not be charged. 

If you need your pets microchip number please call our office during regular business hours and we can provide you with your pets information.

It is important to note that only microchips registered under "Safe This Life" are affected. If your pet was microchipped at our facility - we are strongly recommending that you register your pet with the above link. If your pet was microchipped elsewhere - you will need to reach out to that facility to verify what company your pet was microchipped with.
